Shipping Your Bouquet
-
Step 1: Trim the Stems
Trim the stems of your bouquet, cutting the ends at a slant.
-
Step 2: Prepare for Wrapping
Prepare to wrap the end of your stems with a damp paper towel and aluminum foil.
-
Step 3: Wrap the Stems
Wrap the ends with a damp paper towel. The towel should be moist but not dripping.
-
Step 4: Cover with Foil
Wrap the damp paper towel with foil to hold it in place.
-
Step 5: Prepare Shipping Box
Fill your shipping box with crumpled kraft paper, newspaper, or styrofoam peanuts.
Please keep in mind that the larger the box, the more expensive the shipping cost. Avoid using plastic because it can trap heat and moisture.
-
Step 6: Wrap Bouquet with Paper
Loosely wrap your bouquet with kraft paper or newspaper. If you have lilies in your bouquet, remove stamens before wrapping.
-
Step 7: Place Bouquet in Box
Place your loosely wrapped bouquet inside the shipping box, making sure the bouquet is cushioned all around.
-
Step 8: Finish Packing
Top off with more crumpled paper or styrofoam peanuts to finish off the cushioning of your bouquet.
Do not stuff too tightly as this can cause mold growth!
-
Step 9: Ship & Contact
Ship your package and contact me with your tracking number! I am only one person and cannot always be at my studio, so please keep that in mind.
The fastest shipping method will allow your bouquet to reach me as fresh as possible. I recommend using UPS Next Day Air Saver and making a free account at Shippo (www.shippo.com) to generate a shipping label with a deep discount!
Please make sure your name is on the shipping label or package.
**Requiring signature confirmation or physical presence to receive your package could cause a delay by several days. I am not always available when a carrier arrives**
*FedEx has a tendency to drop packages at the wrong unit or complex, so please use UPS if you can*
